The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba over at The Caffeinated Reviewer. It is chance to share news from your blog and highlight upcoming events. Head over to Kimba's to link up.
Here it is the first week of August! Where has the summer gone? I have a few things to share with you all.
This week was a quiet week on the blogosphere. I think everyone is squeezing in those last minute vacations.
On Rainy Day Ramblings I still had a busy week.
Monday: I hosted The Something Strange and Deadly Tour. I along with author Susan Dennard put together a fantastic, mouth watering post on cookies complete with recipes. There is a delicious recipe for chocolate chip cookies you want to check out.
Tuesday: I answered another hot question regarding negative reviews on Tell Me Something Tuesday. How do you feel about them?
I also participated in the first week of the Pushing the Limits Read Along.
Wednesday: I reviewed a super sweet summer read: Dante's Girl by Courtney Cole.
I also posted my reading goals for The Review Copy Cleanup hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea. I am desperately attempting to conquer my out of control TBR pile. I am hoping to get most of the titles cleared out by the end of the year. Is your pile out of control? I will be posting weekly on my Sunday Post how I am doing. Wish me luck!
Thursday: Was the first week of First Grave on the Right Read Along. This is a fantastic book and there is still time to join in! Click the button for details.
Friday: I rounded out the week with another Friday Forecast. Do you see any books that speak to you?
Saturday: Lies Beneath by Anna Greenwood Brown review.
Again I am trying to limit the amount of books I take in but I still received some good titles:
A big thanks to all the publishers and authors for these reads!
I bought one title for my kindle:
I have good things about this one and I took advantage of a sale price.
Then I picked up a couple of freebies because they look fun!
Next week on Rainy Day Ramblings:
Monday: I have a tour review post of The Jelly Bean Crisis by Jolene Stockman.
Tuesday: I will be answering a few wacky questions for Tell Me Something Tuesday as well as posting the second week answers for the Pushing the Limits Read Along.
Be sure to stop by on Tuesday afternoon as I will be participating in the Young Adult Giveaway Hop. Be sure to enter for a chance to win your choice of sizzling YA titles!
Wednesday: I will be reviewing Scorch by Gina Damico the sequel to Croak.
Thursday: This is week two of the First Grave on the Right Read Along.
Friday: I will have Friday Forecast.
Saturday: I will be reviewing The Prophet by Amanda Stephens which I will be reading with my good friend Maja over at The Nocturnal Library.
That's it from Oregon. We are enjoying a couple of hot days! Hope everything is great where you are. Thanks for stopping by!
