All reviews on this blog are written by me, Heidi, unless otherwise stated; I may occasionally have guest reviewers. I review books simply because I enjoy reading and I want to share my love of books with others.
For the book I review, I will try to provide an honest and constructive analysis. I promise to treat a book with the utmost respect that it deserves. My reviews are based on the five star system.
5 stars: I loved this book; highly recommend rush out and buy immediately.
4 stars: This is a great book; I recommend you read it.
3 stars: I liked this book; I can recommend it with some reservations.
2 stars: This book did not work for me; I can't recommend it but it might work for you.
1 star: I will only use this rating if the book is highly offensive.
Currently I am posting my reviews to this blog, Goodreads and Amazon. I will respect the ARC, I will not sell or distribute in an unlawful manner. All book synopsis and cover photos are courtesy of Amazon, Goodreads or the book publisher.
Occasionally I participate in blog tours or author interviews/ guest posts and giveaways. Note: I do not do book blasts, book blitzes or cover reveals. I will only promote books that I have read on this blog. I do not want to turn my blog into a billboard for advertising and spam my readers.
All books reviewed on this blog were either purchased, borrowed from the library or friends and fellow bloggers or won in contests. Books that I receive from publishers and authors are in exchange for an honest, fair critique. I am not compensated for my reviews. Any review of a book obtained from an outside source will have a disclosure regarding the book's origin.
I am a book omnivore. I enjoy reading many varieties of books. This blog will focus mainly on books in the Paranormal/Supernatural genre both adult and young adult. However, since variety is the spice of life I will review books from other genres such as; Historical Fiction and Non-Fiction, Fantasy, Chick-Lit some Horror; mainly Stephen King, Mystery/Crime/Thrillers, Cozy Mysteries, Urban Fantasy, Comedy and some Science Fiction and perhaps a Romance. Books that I do not read; erotica, graphic horror and any book that pertains to animal cruelty or abuse, religious books, self help, business etc.
Finally, all material unless otherwise stated is my work. I do not plagiarize or borrow from anyone else's material. All quotations will be appropriately marked. I will respect your work and I ask that you show me the same courtesy. Please notify me if you desire to repost or borrow from my blog or if you see my work posted without permission.
